"I was building a Passivhaus (completely airtight structure), so a fully insulated and sealed garage door would be in keeping, even though the garage is not included in the "conditioned space". John's door was the best that I found ! Beautiful solid construction, very nice powdercoating - including the tracks - a detail that sold me AND I had a choice of track/runners colour, so I chose black. That matched my garage surround - nice ! The smooth door is off-white, quite similar to my Surfmist roof! Quality panel joining hinges = long life expectancy. And the edge seals are fully around - and they work ! At night, with the lights on in the garage, from outside in the dark I cannot see even a spot of light escaping from any unsealed corner etc = good air seal. AND = best protection from any flying embers in a nearby fire (fingers crossed!). The door is super smooth and super quiet - like one of the other reviewers, I have to watch the door start to make sure that it is closing behind me as I leave !!! I waited for at least one year before I put up this review - no point saying "just put up, look's great !" It has been flawless operation in this year. Just had a tiny issue with one seal working out of place. I messaged John, and he was nearby, and came straight away and fixed it, and fixed so it can't move again - not just shoved back in, well done ! So.... definitely a good time to write a top star review."
